Your Heroes have access to any skills you have unlocked for your account. UAX ftw anyone? My lvl 5 Koss had "charge!"

Yeah, he can use skills that your account has unlocked. Very unfair for people who had to create an account for nightfall. Koss doesn't even have a full skillbar for me and other people have elites.

It may be unfair for the new players but don't those of us that have been long time GuildWars consumers deserve a little extra?

I have full unlock on both prophecies and factions, but I will not buy character slots because I will get them with my nightfall purchase.
The Great Al: Yes you can purchase skills in PvE (with gold and skill points) or in PvP (with Balthazar faction) to unlock skills

so then it would make sense to make a bunch of new characters and buy skills while they are cheap, instead of buying the skills on our other characters where skills cost a plat each

there, fixed for ya Paperfly
good thing that my main char is a wammo, he got quivering blade as his elite for the first part, then went with dragon slash.
setting the skill bar is fun, but once you get more heroes is painful not being able to take them with you and also not being able to have all the heroes is sad , it was a hard choice selecting jin or sousuke (sp?) though at the end i picked the later (sousuke(sp?)) to be my nuker mimicking Orion/Cynn´s skill bar

you can change ur secondary and purchase ur skills for the hero's...
set secondary to war and boom u can now buy the skills koss will use...
keep swapping ur secondary and u can get all the skills u need for ur heros to use...
pretty much ur heros only have access to the skills you have unlocked

Heroes will get any skills you unlock. You sometimes will get unlocked skills as a reward but your character itself will not know them which confused me. But yes your heroes can use any skill you have unlocked including elites.

The only skills I buy from trainers are signets of capture, they are worth a plat each. Anything else can be unlocked in game.

I'm not sure about Factions, but in Prophecies, you can change your 2nd after ascending and completing a few quests in the desert. You can change at will, and it costs nothing.

Allow me to introduce you to a little game called Guild Wars: Factions, to which None May Pass! is native. One of its salient features (which I quite like, actually!) is that 90% of all non-elite skills are available from skill trainers at a very early stage.
...On the other hand, there are no quests that grant skills as a reward after, oh, the first hour and a half. None at all. If you want a non-elite skill, you have to buy it. Awesome for when you just want to complete that eight-skill default bar right away, less good if you like having lots of niche skills to play around switching builds with.
@Corridan: in the other two chapters you can change your secondary later on in the game. In this preview there's no option to do so, presumably because it comes later on in Nightfall.
